Since 1982, SH Scientific has been manufacturing vertical autoclaves (pressurized steam sterilizer) for various applications including sterilization of glassware, beakers, bottles, growth media and pipette tips in academic and research labs as well as sterilizing bulk substrate and grain spawn in mushroom cultivation.
As a product of many years of research and development efforts done by our great team of scientists and engineers, we have developed vertical autoclaves that are excellent in production yield with fast turnaround and easy operation not to mention temperature and pressure holding with safety features.
Thus, SH Scientific vertical (top loading) autoclaves have been widely used in biomedical research such as microbiology and mycology as well as medical and chemical sterilization.
Typical loads include laboratory glassware, other equipment and waste, surgical instruments and medical waste and subject them to pressurized saturated steam at 121°C (250°F).
